International Epilepsy day

Today is International Epilepsy day.  The aim is to get the message out there, to raise awareness of the condition, and to try and educate people.  Millions of people live with Epilepsy.  Many others live, as carers, with those who have the condition and do an amazing job of supporting them.
Unfortunately there are still many other people who do not understand the condition.

Today I stand united with everyone internationally across social media, to say I have Epilepsy.  I am a normal person, but I live with a condition that limits my life, but I'm still ME.  I love life and I live life despite my condition. I love writing.  I love travel.  I love history.

So today, on International Epilepsy Day, support people like me who have the condition by spreading the word.  It's really simple:

1. Get a piece of paper.
2. Write where in the world you are from.
3. add the hashtag #epilepsyday
4. Take a selfie with it and upload with the hashtag #epilepsyday
5. Spread it across the world and tell everyone that you support people with Epilepsy.

For more information on Epilepsy please go to Epilepsy Org or follow International Epilepsy Day on twitter

Thank You.
